COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Resident Services
Mission and Philosophy
The Resident Services Program seeks to foster community connections, facilitate
access to resources, and provide opportunities for personal goal achievement
for residents of PAHC’s housing communities.
The Resident Services Program offers:
* Referrals and applications for community resources
* Onsite educational classes and workshops for
children, parents, adults and seniors, as well as after-school programs for
youth
* One-on-one confidential supportive listening
and case work when appropriate
* Events and activities that build community and strengthen community ties
The Resident Services Program enhances the ability of residents to pursue
goals, maintain stable housing, overcome barriers to success, and improve
overall quality of life.
Supportive services help seniors live independently for as long as possible.
We promote healthy families by ensuring that parents are aware of available
support and youth have positive role models. Onsite services make it possible
for disabled residents to live autonomously and with dignity.
Living in service-enriched affordable housing provides peace of mind from
knowing that there is a safe, secure place to call home. Stability and peace
of mind leads to greater success in the workplace and at school. By encouraging
community understanding and connections, the Resident Services Program helps
create stable families, connected neighbors, engaged lives and bright futures.
